Preparation Guide for Technical Paper Submission

    Please read carefully before submitting your paper!

Please submit the manuscript via the paper submission system(Closed)

(1) Submission Deadline

    Note that the deadline is strict. No extensions are granted for any reason this year.

  • Please complete your initial submission (with abstract and full paper)
      by 17:00 JST (UTC+9), Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
    Paper registration is closed strictly on the deadline this year.
  • Modification of the full paper is allowed
      until 23:59 JST (UTC+9), Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
    To ensure fairness for all submitters, no modification is allowed after this deadline.
  • The submission deadline is set based on Japan Standard Time (JST). JST goes ahead of most other local times. The deadlines of paper registration and modification of the full paper by local times are as follows:

(2) File Format and Templates

  • The manuscript for the initial submission should be formatted according to the guidelines.
  • You can download the templates of initial submission for (LaTex), (LaTex2e), and (MSWord).
  • Accepted file format is PDF only. The PDF file should be readable by Adobe Reader 7.0 and should not include special fonts such as Asian fonts.

(3) Title and Author List

  • The title and the authors of the paper cannot be modified after the submission deadline (unless instructed by the review board). The title and the authors appears in the final camera-ready manuscript must be exactly the same as registered at the initial submission. So, please carefully check them when you register your paper.
  • The initial manuscript must not include authors' names and their affiliations to ensure a blind review. It should not include acknowledgments either.
  • The description of the copyright is not necessary for the initial manuscript.

(4) Page Limit

  • The manuscript for the initial submission should be six pages in length including all figures, tables and references.
  • Papers will be accepted for publication as either of regular papers or short papers. The paper type cannot be chosen by authors when submitting papers.
  • The page limit for the regular papers is six. For the camera-ready version, up to two extra pages are allowed (to reflect review results) with extra payment. Nevertheless, the initial submission must not exceed six pages.
  • The page limit for the short papers is four.

(4) Dual Submission

  • Dual submission with other conferences is not allowed. ASP-DAC works cooperatively with other conferences and symposia in the field to check for double submissions.

(4) Presentation

  • All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors. ASP-DAC does not allow "no show" nor "no author presentation."
  • IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference (see "Handling of non-presented papers").
