University LSI Design Contest Instructions for Authors
Thank you very much for your great contribution to University LSI Design Contest (UDC) of ASP-DAC 2015. This is to inform you of the instructions for oral presentation and poster discussion.
UDC is scheduled on Jan. 20. We have the oral presentations at first, and then the poster discussions right after the oral presentations. Please follow the instructions below.
Short presentation slide submission:
Due date: January 12th 2015Format: pdf file, screen size 7.5 x 10 inch, 6 slides at MAX
Remark: put presentation ID# (e.g. 1S-1) on the upper left corner of each slide
Submission web: https://www2.infonets.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/aspdac-udc/cgi/add_file.cgi
(Use your paper ID and password for the paper submission)
Poster preparation:
Format: free, size is limited within 1200mm (width) x 1800mm (height)Remark: bring printed poster by yourself (no printer at the conference site)
Speaker's breakfast:
Date & time: 07:00 - 08:30 (Tue.) January 20th, 2015Place: to be announced later
Poster setting:
Date & time: 07:00 - 08:30 (Tue.) January 20th, 2015Place: Lobby, 1F
Remark: pushpins will be prepared for attaching the poster on the poster board
Opening ceremony:
Date & time: 08:30 - 09:50 (Tue.) January 20th, 2015Place: to be announced later
Remark: UDC award winners will be announced in this opening ceremony
Short presentation:
Date & time: 10:20 - 12:00 (Tue.) January 20th, 2015Session#: 1S (Room 103)
Presentation time: 4mins/presentation (no Q & A time)
Remark: we combine all the slides together in one pdf file and set up in a laptop PC
(you don't need to bring your slide file and the laptop PC)
Poster session:
Date & time: 12:20 - 13:40 (Tue.) January 20th, 2015 (just after presentation)Place: Lobby, 1F
Remark: you have to attend both short presentation and poster sessions otherwise your paper will not be registered and not be shown in IEEExplorer.
