How to use virtual conference system

ASP-DAC 2021 virtual conference system offers you the following four ways to join the conference.

  • Watch pre-recorded videos of presentations. [Detailed instructions]
    Available from Jan. 12th to 29th: Keynotes, Designers' Forum, University LSI Design Contest, Special Sessions, Regular Sessions
    Available from Jan. 19th to 29th: Tutorials

  • Join chat Q&A sessions. [Detailed instructions]
    Chat Q&A sessions using Slack are available for Designers' Forum, University LSI Design Contest, Special Sessions, and Regular Sessions. You can ask questions to presenters anytime from Jan. 12th to 29th. Live chat Q&A sessions, which all the speakers and session chairs in each session are attending, are held according to the time table here.

  • Watch presentation videos broadcasted by Zoom. [Detailed instructions]
    All sessions are broadcasted by Zoom according to the timetable here.

  • Live Tutorials on Zoom. [Detailed instructions]
    Live tutorials are held on Jan. 18th on Zoom in an interactive way. You can ask questions to speakers during tutorial sessions. The timetable of the live tutorials is here. Please turn off camera when joining tutorial.

When you use the virtual conference system, please go to the next link first. Then, your registration ID and password are asked for authentication. Registration ID and password were sent to you by e-mail when you registered for ASP-DAC 2021.

NOTE: The registration fee needs to be paid before you join the virtual conference system.


Instructions for watching pre-recorded videos of presentations.

  1. Go to https://tsys.jp/aspdac/cgi/online_archive.cgi, and enter your Registration ID and password.
  2. Click a session name in the session schedule table, then you are jumped to a list of presentations of the session.
  3. Click "To this video" of the presentation you like to see.
  4. Finally, click ">" button on the bottom left of the screen to start playing the video.


Instructions for joining chat Q&A sessions.

  1. Go to https://tsys.jp/aspdac/cgi/online_archive.cgi, and enter your Registration ID and password.
  2. [Only for the first time] Click "this link for the Slack invitation" at the top of the page.

    Then, enter your e-mail address and click "Continue with Email". Then, a confirmation mail will be sent to the address from Slack. Any valid e-mail address is OK as long as you can read the confirmation mail from Slack. This e-mail address will be used as account of ASP-DAC 2021 on Slack.
    "Confirm Email" in a confirmation mail from Slack takes you to another page of Slack. Here, enter your full name and password for Slack account. Then, you can see channels for Q&A.
  3. [After the second time] Click "To this live chat Q&A session" in the session schedule table or a list of presentations, then a sign-in page of Slack will appear. Enter your e-mail address and password, then you will go to the chat channel of the session you chose. The same e-mail address as one used in e-mail confirmation for the first time should be input.

Instructions for watching presentation videos broadcasted by Zoom / Instructions for joining live tutorials on Zoom.

  1. Go to https://tsys.jp/aspdac/cgi/online_archive.cgi, and enter your Registration ID and password.
  2. Click "zoom_timetable.pdf" at the top of the page. Then, a PDF file showing Zoom links of tutorials and sessions will appear.
  3. Click the tutorial or session you like to see, then Zoom application for the tutorial or session you chose will automatically start. You may be asked to install Zoom if not installed on your PC. In that case, please accept the installation request and follow the instructions. Please turn off camera when joining tutorial.
