Actions for Sustainability
Sustainability is another challenging problem to tackle in our community. In ASP-DAC 2025, we plan to take various measures to minimize the negative environmental and social impacts of the conference, including:
Reducing paper use
We minimize the number of printings during the conference. You can check the detailed program on the ASP-DAC website. The proceedings will be provided electrically.
Plastic Bottle Reduction
We plan to give away a water bottle with "Eco Mark" labeled with the 30th-anniversary logo of ASP-DAC to each attendee. "Eco Mark is the certificate of low environmental impact throughout its life cycle from production to disposal, reviewed by the Japan Environment Association.
We will install water filling stations in the venue. Please fill your water bottle with water to reduce the use of plastic bottles. Furthermore, please bring your water bottle home and use it in your daily life. In order to reduce waste, we will not order extra water bottles.
Please register as soon as possible to secure your bottle!
Paper Badges
We will eliminate the use of plastic from the conference badge holder.
Walking Distance among Event Venues
The conference and banquet venues are within walking distance. They are also within walking distance of public transport. There are also many hotels within walking distance or on the Yurikamome Line.
"Warm Biz"
We encourage "Warm Biz," which is Japan's annual environmental campaign, to encourage people to dress warmly to avoid extra heating of the rooms.
Prayer Rooms
Prayer rooms are available in the venue. Please ask the registration desk for the details.
Vegetarian and Halal menus
We will provide vegetarian and halal menus at banquets and labeling of food names in Japanese and English.
Waste boxes with other Language than Japanese
English signs will be installed on trash cans in the venue. Please cooperate to separate your garbage.
