** Please note that each paper (including UDC paper) shall be accompanied by at least one different conference registration at the speaker’s registration rate (e.g., Speaker of two papers registration (60,000yen) is needed for presenting two accepted papers) by Nov. 30, 2020. But any registered co-author can present the work at the conference.

The registration fee includes:

  • The opportunity to view the full prerecorded video presentations (streaming on Vimeo) for each regular and special sessions including keynote speeches, Designers' Forum, University LSI Design Contest and Tutorials. Streaming on Vimeo will be available from Jan. 12 to Jan. 29, 2021.
  • Admission to tutorials. Tutorials will be held on Jan.18, 2021 interactively through Zoom Meeting. Tutorials will be recorded on Jan. 18, 2021 and streaming on Vimeo will be available from Jan. 20 to Jan. 29, 2021.
  • An authority to access the download site for the conference proceedings. The download site will be open on Jan. 12, 2021 and will be closed on Jan. 29, 2021. Please note that neither CD-ROM nor USB memory are provided.
  • During the week of the event (Jan. 19 -21, 2021), 30 minutes live question & answer time for each session will be held with Slack. To participate in live question & answer time for each session, you will need Slack account (free).


All registration fees must be paid in Japanese yen by credit card. Please note that personal checks, bank drafts and bank transfer will not be accepted.
You are NOT able to download the conference proceeding or watch the pre-recorded presentation if you did not finish the payment. Please finish the payment within a week after you registered (finish the payment immediately if you register on January).

The limit to the number of pages per paper can be extended up to eight (8) by paying an additional charge for pages beyond six (6). The details of the page limit policy and charge can be found here.
If you need to pay an additional page charge, you can pay it with registration fee from the payment site. At the payment site, please select the total number of pages whose charge is paid by you of your papers.


When written notification of cancellation after you paid is received by the conference secretariat by December 16, 2020, 5,000 yen will be deducted from the fees paid to cover administrative costs. No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after this date. Speakers are not allowed to cancel registrations.
